700 vehicles were freed from the jam
When police and administration officials came to know about this, DSP, SDM and SHO immediately reached the spot along with the Manali police team. Seeing the heavy traffic, even the officials were shocked. At present the police team is busy in clearing the jam. So far 700 vehicles have been taken out.

The local meteorological department has predicted rain and snowfall in central and higher areas on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
