Park Bo Gum’s Good Boy features “Olympic Avengers” solving violent crimes amidst chaos
The first glimpse of Park Bo Gum’s upcoming K-drama Good Boy has finally been released, thrilling fans. The series’ plot centers on a group of sportsmen who, as a result of life’s uncertainties, switch careers.
JTBC gave a preview of their next K-dramas, which are scheduled to premiere in 2025, on December 23, 2024. Among them is Good Boy, which features Kim So Hyun, Park Bo Gum, and other actors. A sneak peek of the series’ distinctive plot was featured with the first appearance of the main cast.
In a picture, Kim So Hyun can be seen aiming her gun at the target while competing in the Olympic shooting competitions. Expert fencer Heo Sung Tae, meanwhile, is wearing the pointed sabre and the traditional fencing attire getting ready for the fight.
Through a unique Olympic recruitment campaign, worldwide medalists who decide to become police officers now deal with a number of dishonest and crooked people after exchanging their medals for police IDs. The “Olympic Avengers,” a specialist team dedicated to combating violent crimes and injustices use their extraordinary athletic abilities to solve the most difficult cases.
Directed by Shim Na Yeon it stars Park Bo Gum, Kim So Hyun, Heo Sung Tae, Lee Sang Yi, Tae Won Seok, Oh Jung Se, Park Ji Hoon, and others.
The 16-episode series will be aired by the South Korean network JTBC.
