Indian players divided into 3 groups, took part in fun fielding drills; Know who became the winner

Team India fun fileding drill: The fourth Test of the five-match Test series being played against Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy is to be played in Melbourne from December 26. The Indian team is preparing vigorously for this match, because victory is necessary for the series as well as the WTC final. For this reason all the players do not want to leave any stone unturned. Along with bowling and batting practice, the players are also trying their hand in fielding, a funny video of which has been shared by BCCI.

Indian players took part in fielding drills

On Monday, December 23, BCCI released a video on social media, in which players are seen engaging in a fun fielding drill with fielding coach T Dilip. During this, players had to target the stumps, in which there was one point for hitting the big stump, two points for hitting the small stump and four points for hitting the ball placed in the center.

T Dilip further informed that the winning team in this drill will be given a cash prize of $300. The players were divided into three groups. Sarfaraz Khan was the captain of Group 1 while Mohammed Siraj and Dhruv Jurel led the other two groups.

The groups of players were as follows:

Group 1 – Sarfaraz Khan (Captain), Virat Kohli, Devdutt Padikkal, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Harshit Rana, Yashasvi Jaiswal

Group 2 – Mohammed Siraj (captain), Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Akashdeep, Nitish Reddy

Group 3 – Dhruv Jurel (captain), Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja, Shubman Gill, Prasidh Krishna, Washington Sundar

Dhruv Jurel's group became the winner

T Dilip mentioned the importance of such fielding drills and said, “The main objective for me today was to bring everyone together and make sure we get some energy before we go to the nets and as a group when When we work, it's great.”

Let us tell you that in this fielding drill, the teams of big players like Virat Kohli and Rohit were disappointed and the team captained by Dhruv Jurel became the winner.
