'Not Rohit, Virat or anyone else, I am the real MVP', Ashwin said from the heart
Delhi: Ravichandran Ashwin not only impresses people with his bowling and batting on the field, but also with his words. He has a skill which is seen in very few people – he connects people with his words. His interviews and YouTube channel are the biggest proof of this.

In the last phase of his career, Ashwin felt that he should tell people who he really is. He thought of breaking some misconceptions, and with this thought he wrote his book “I Have the Streets: A Kutti Cricket Story”.
'I am the MVP of my cricket'
The former Indian spinner believes that Indian cricket has been blessed by legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. But, it is wrong to think that the other players only play a supporting role. Ashwin says that cricket is a team game, and everyone has their own importance in its story.
Ashwin said, “When people talk about Indian cricket, they talk about Virat Kohli or Rohit Sharma. When I was growing up, people used to talk about Sachin Tendulkar and other superstars. But, my only attempt is to change this thinking. These are brilliant players, but to say that the other players are only in supporting roles is absolutely wrong.
Ashwin further said, “For me, in my life, for my father or mother, I am the MVP (Most Valuable Player). There is no Rohit, Virat or anyone else. Everyone's journey is different. For me, I have always been the MVP and the MVP of my cricket.”
