UPSC Geo Scientist Mains 2024 result declared; check here

New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission has declared the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Main exam 2024 result. Candidates can check and download their UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Mains result 2024 by visiting the official website of the commission, upsc.gov.in. The necessary login credentials which include the registration number and date of birth are required to access the result online.

For the appointment to geologist, hydrogeologist, geophysics, geophysicist, and chemist, chemical posts the commission has shortlisted 69 candidates. The result of 14 candidates is provisional and these candidates need to submit the original documents immediately within the stipulated three-month period.

To access and check the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist result, one needs to follow the below steps-

  • Step 1: Go to the commissions’s website, upsc.gov.in
  • Step 2: Click on the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist result link available on the homepage.
  • Step 3: Enter the credentials as asked and click on submit.
  • Step 4: Once done, the result PDF will be displayed on the screen.
  • Step 5: Check the result and download the page.
  • Step 6: Take the printout of the PDF for records.

UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist document verification

The commission will issue the offer of appointment to the selected candidates after the document verification. The documents related to educational qualifications, identity proof and other eligibility are necessary for candidates to carry. After the verification of documents, the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist final result will be made available.

If a candidate fails to verify the documents within the given time, the candidature will be cancelled and these candidates will no longer be considered for the recruitment process. After the last date, the commission will not entertain any further requests for an extension of dates.

The UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist personality test was held between December 9 to December 12. The preliminary exam was held on February 18 and the mains on June 22 and June 23, 2024.
