Bajaj Auto recently launched the Chetak 35 Series electric scooters, featuring a significant upgrade over the outgoing 32 Series models. The EV will compete in the highly-contested electric scooter market in India against the likes of Ather Rizta, Hero Vida V1, Ola S1 and TVS iQube among others.
Among its three variants, the top-spec Chetak 3501 emerges as a strong contender in the premium electric scooter segment, taking on rivals like the TVS iQube S. Bajaj Chetak 3501 vs TVS iQube S: Battery and range

The Bajaj Chetak 3501 features a 3.5 kWh battery pack, delivering an ARAI-certified range of 153 km on a single charge. Its charging capabilities are a standout, allowing a 0-80% charge in just three hours.
In contrast, the TVS iQube S comes with a marginally smaller 3.4 kWh battery pack, offering a real-world range of 100 km. Charging the iQube S to 80% takes approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes.
While the Chetak offers a slightly lower top speed of 73 kmph compared to the iQube’s 78 kmph, both scooters feature two ride modes: Eco and Sports. The Chetak’s 4kW BLDC motor matches up well against the iQube’s 4.4kW hub-mounted motor.

The Chetak 3501 boasts a host of upgrades, including a 5-inch TFT touchscreen display with Bluetooth connectivity for calls, texts, and music controls.
