Gold ring declined by 0.24% to VND84.1 million per tael.
Globally gold prices edged higher on Tuesday in lackluster trading in a holiday-trimmed week, as investors braced for U.S. President-elect Donald Trump’s trade tariff policies and a less aggressive rate-cut path from the Federal Reserve next year, Reuters reported.
Spot gold added 0.3% to $2,620.83 per ounce. U.S. gold futures were 0.2% up at $2,634.10.
