PKL 11 points table: U Mumba seal final playoff spot, UP Yoddhas secure 3rd place

New Delhi: UP Yoddhas finished their league stage campaign with a thumping victory against Bengaluru Bulls at the Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune on December 24, Tuesday. With this win, Yoddhas finished the league stage on third position with 79 points in 22 matches. While, the Bulls only managed to win just two matches out of 22.

This was the Bull’s worst season in PKL history as they finished the league stage in the last position with just 19 points in 22 matches. Yoddhas will face Jaipur Pink Panthers in the eliminator match. The winner of the eliminators will qualify for the semi-finals and join Haryana Steelers and Dabang Delhi, who are already qualified for the semi-finals.

In the second match of the night, U Mumba beat Bengal Warriorz and became the final team to qualify for the playoffs. Mumba finished the league stage in fifth position with 71 points in 22 matches and now they will face Patna Pirates in the eliminator match.

Warriorz finished the season with a loss and also PKL 11 didn’t go well for them as they finished the season in the tenth position. They won only five matches out of 22 and just have 41 points in the league stage.

PKL 11 playoffs will kick off on December 26, Thursday. All the matches of playoffs will be played at Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune. Haryana Steelers, Dabang Delhi, UP Yoddhas, Patna Pirates, U Mumba, and Jaipur Pink Panthers are the teams that will compete in the PKL 11 playoffs.
