Delhi Assembly Elections 2024: All parties are announcing the names of candidates for Delhi Assembly elections. Meanwhile, Congress has also finalized the names of candidates for 28 seats. Actually, a meeting of the Congress Central Election Committee (CEC) was held on Tuesday. In which a total of 35 seats were discussed. If sources are to be believed, Congress is going to field Alka Lamba from Kalka Ji seat against CM Atishi. His name has been approved in the CEC meeting.

If sources are to be believed, Congress has finalized the name of Rajesh Lilothia from Seemapuri in the CEC meeting held on Tuesday. Whereas Congress can make Farhad Suri its candidate from Jangpura. Whereas Congress can make Asim Ahmed its candidate from Matia Mahal seat. Whereas the name of Devendra Sehrawat has been decided from Bijwasan.

Let us tell you that Asim Ahmed Khan and Devendra Sehrawat have been former MLAs of Aam Aadmi. Both the leaders joined Congress yesterday i.e. on Monday itself. Kejriwal had expelled Asim Ahmed Khan from his cabinet on corruption charges. Devendra Sehrawat has been a member of BJP and then Shiv Sena.

A meeting regarding the manifesto was held on Monday
