Maharashtra won due to Gaikwad's roar, increasing the problems for Indian selectors for Champions Trophy

Maharashtra team, which came to chase this easy target, won the match by losing 1 wicket in 20.5 overs, thanks to the brilliant innings of Ruturaj Gaikwad. Ruturaj Gaikwad and Om Bhosle gave a great start. There was an opening partnership of 86 runs between the two. Bhosale was out after scoring 24 runs. After that Siddhesh Veer supported Captain Gaikwad till the end.

Gaikwad was seen in a different rhythm. He scored 148 runs in just 74 balls at a strike rate of 200.
