Rava Dosa: Perfect option for breakfast
Semolina (Rava) – 1 cup
Rice flour – 1 cup
Ginger chopped – 1/2 inch
Green chilli chopped – 3
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
Roasted cashews – 3 tsp
Oil – as per requirement
Salt – as per taste
– First of all, put rava in a vessel and mix rice flour in it.
– After mixing both well, add cumin, asafoetida and salt and mix.
Now add some water to the mixture and prepare a smooth dough. After this, cover the dough and keep it in a warm place for a few hours.
Meanwhile, keep aside the roasted cashews, green chillies, black pepper and ginger in a bowl.
– Now take a non-stick pan/griddle and heat it on medium flame.
When the pan gets hot, pour some oil on it and spread it all around to make the surface smooth.
– Now beat the dough well once and then take the solution in a bowl and put it in the middle of the pan.
– After this, spread it as thin as possible. After baking the dosa for some time, spread the mixture of cashew nuts and green chillies over it.
Now apply oil on the edges of the dosa and fry it until it turns golden brown. After that, after folding the dosa, take it out from the pan and keep it in a plate.
Similarly, prepare all the Rava Dosa one by one. They can be served with coconut chutney, green chutney or tomato sauce.
