3 Indian players whose place is not confirmed yet for Champions Trophy 2025
3 Indian players spot still not confirm for Champions Trophy 2025:
The countdown for Champions Trophy 2025, one of the biggest ICC events, has started. This tournament is going to start from 19th February next year. The Champions Trophy is hosted by Pakistan and this tournament will be played under the hybrid model. After missing out on the title in 2017, Team India is fully prepared for this mega tournament.
The command of Men in Blue will once again be in the hands of Rohit Sharma. Although there are some players in Team India's Champions Trophy squad whose place is still not confirmed, in this article we are going to mention 3 such players.
3. Sanju Samson
Sanju Samson is looking in amazing form these days. This right-handed batsman from Kerala is making a lot of noise with the bat. After his tremendous performance in T20 cricket for some time, it is believed that Sanju may get a chance in the squad for next year's Champions Trophy. But considering the way Team India has wicketkeeper batsmen like KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant, Samson's place in the Champions Trophy cannot be considered confirmed.
2. Yashasvi Jaiswal
Team India's young batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal has established his place in the Indian Test team. He has become the most important Test batsman for Team India. But it is difficult for him to get a chance in the ODI squad of Indian cricket. It does not seem possible that Yashasvi will be taken with the team for the ICC Champions Trophy to be hosted by Pakistan next year.
1. Mohammed Shami
The Indian cricket team reached the final in the ICC ODI World Cup last year. The contribution of fast bowler Mohammed Shami in this tremendous performance can never be forgotten. Shami had bowled brilliantly in the World Cup, but since then he has not been able to make a comeback in Team India. He has been injured for the last one year. Although he returned to Indian domestic cricket last month, there is still suspense regarding his fitness. In such a situation, his chances of being selected in the Champions Trophy are slim.
