New Delhi: Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Delhi Capitals (DC) on Wednesday posted a special video for seasoned batter KL Rahul who completes 10 years in international cricket on Thursday. Delhi Capitals secured the services of Rahul for a price of Rs 14 crore at the IPL 2025 mega auction, after his last year’s franchise Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) refrained from retaining the skipper for the upcoming season.
KL Rahul, who has done a fine work for India in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy, will be celebrating his 10-year anniversary on the field when the Boxing Day Test match against Australia begins at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Thursday. Rahul will up against the Australians at the same place where he made his debut as India Test cap no. 284 back in the year 2014.

Crucial Test for India
Team India will be facing a crucial test when they take on Australia in the fourth and second-last Test match of the series at the MCG. With the five-match series equally poised at 1-1, both the sides would be keen on taking an advantage and leading the series with a win in the game. For India, who have not been that good in the BGT apart from the opening Test match at Perth, it will be a test of fortunes and form when they come on to the field against the mighty Australians.
Mainly for the visiting side, batting has been a cause of concern as the biggies in the team have not been able to fire at all. Rahul has showcased some brilliance while the other batters are yet to display their class. India would be hoping to deliver an all-round show when face Australia in the crucial encounter.
