The government has set a target of distributing 2.19 crore property cards under the Swamitva scheme. This scheme has been started to give property rights to the people living in rural areas so that they do not have to face problems in this regard.
The property will be made suitable for taking loan from the bank.
It has been informed that people living in rural areas are not able to take any kind of loan on their urban area property due to lack of details. Land survey is being done under this scheme. At present 3.44 lakh villages have been included in the scheme.
It has been told by the officials that this scheme was started in April 2020 and it will be completed by March 2026. With its help, it will become easier for people to get bank tickets and property related dispute cases will be reduced.
