Pushpa 2: The Rule Becomes Highest Grossing Indian Film | Read

The Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule has become the highest-grossing Indian film based on nationwide net collections, indicate multiple sources.


As per data from Sacnilk dot com, the film has grossed more than 1,500 crores from theatres worldwide, including a net collection of around 1,100 crores in India. While SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is regarded as the most lucrative Indian film based on domestic gross collections, the data pegs the Sukumar directorial at the top in terms of net collections. As for worldwide gross collections, Aamir Khan’s Dangal is still considered to be the number-one Indian film.

Released earlier this December, the sequel to Pushpa: The Rise continues its successful run at the box office. As per the latest data, it raked in around 270 crore at the box office even two weeks after its release. Recently, its producer Mythri Movie Makers revealed that the film became the fastest to mint 1,000 crore at the global box office.
