Before the launch of Samsung Galaxy s25 series, users got a shock, will have to spend more money for better charging.
Mobile News Desk – Leaks related to South Korean tech brand Samsung's next flagship phone Samsung Galaxy S25 series are continuously coming to the fore and the company has now shocked the users. Of course, the latest Qi2 magnetic charging standard is supported in the new flagship phone, but to get its benefit, customers will have to spend separately. A new report has revealed that if users want the full benefit of wireless charging, they may have to buy a separate magnetic case.
The Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) has confirmed that the Qi2 standard will provide better wireless charging and, in addition to good efficiency, heat management has also been improved. However, to take full advantage of Samsung's new device, a separate accessory will have to be installed. This could be because the company does not want to increase the price of its flagship devices and is already spending more on new components and chipsets.
Magnetic case can be a new accessory
The list of leaked accessories of the Galaxy S25 series also includes 'Magnetic Case' and due to this, speculations are being made about the new hardware. It is believed that the flagship phone will not have enough hardware to support Qi2's magnetic charging and for this, other compatible Qi2 wireless chargers and accessories will come in handy. The new accessory could be a magnetic case and will be offered with the Qi2 logo.
Apart from this change related to wireless charging, Samsung Galaxy S25 series is also being criticized because of its battery specifications. China's Compulsory Certification (CCC) database has revealed that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will have a 4885mAh (about 5000mAh) battery. The same battery is also found in the previous Galaxy S24 Ultra. It is clear that there is going to be no change in both battery and fast charging speed, about which many users are unhappy. Finally, if we talk about design, there will not be much difference in the design of Galaxy S24 Ultra and Galaxy S25 Ultra. Both have a 200MP primary camera and the new flagship series is going to be upgraded with Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
