Prepare market style veg chow mein for children at home, note down the easy recipe.

Today we are going to make Veg Chowmein especially for children. This will be prepared very easily. You will like this spicy chow mein full of flavor with vegetables and sauce. We will make it in street food style. So you too make Veg Chow Mein with this easy recipe and enjoy its taste with your family.

Capsicum – 1
Cabbage – Cabbage – ½
Carrot – 1
Salt – Salt – 1 teaspoon
Oil – 1 teaspoon
Noodles – Noodles – 250 grams
Oil – 2 tbsp
Oil – 2 tbsp
Ginger – 1 inch, chopped
Green chilli – 1, finely chopped
Green chilli chutney – 1 tbsp
Red chilli sauce – 1 tbsp
Sabudana – 1 tbsp – Sabudana – 1 tbsp
Soy Sauce – Dark Soy Sauce – 2 tbsp
Tomato Sauce – 2 tbsp
Salt – ½ tsp

Method:

1. Boiling the Noodles:

  • First of all, boil water in a vessel and add some salt and 1 teaspoon oil in it.
  • Now add noodles to it and boil for about 5-7 minutes, until the noodles become soft. Take care not to overboil the noodles.
  • After boiling, drain the noodles and wash them with cold water so that the noodles do not stick. Keep them aside for some time.

2. Preparing the Vegetables:

  • Heat oil in a pan and add ginger-garlic paste and green chilli and fry lightly.
  • After this add onion and fry it until it turns light pink.
  • Now add carrots, capsicum, cabbage, and peas. Fry them on medium flame for 3-4 minutes so that the vegetables remain slightly crispy.

3. Mixing Spices and Sauces:

  • Now add soy sauce, chili sauce, tomato sauce, and vinegar to the vegetables. Also add black pepper powder and salt. Mix everything well.
  • Cook it for 2 minutes so that the sauce and spices mix well with the vegetables.

4. Mixing Noodles:

  • Now add the boiled noodles to the vegetables and mix gently so that the noodles do not break.
  • Cook the noodles and vegetables on medium flame for 2-3 minutes so that all the spices get mixed well in the noodles.

5. Serving:

  • When the noodles are cooked well, turn off the gas.
  • Take out the hot veg chow mein in a plate and garnish with green onions or sesame seeds.

Tips:

  • You can also add other vegetables of your choice like mushrooms, baby corn or spring onion.
  • To make chow mein even more spicy, you can add green chilli paste or Schezwan sauce.

Veg Chow Mein Can be served with or without sauce. This is a delicious and nutritious dish that can be easily made at home.
