Fire broke out in train bogie at Garhwa Road station, operations disrupted on Barkakana-Mughalsarai route.

Palamu: A major accident was averted at Garhwa Road railway station on Thursday. A sudden fire broke out due to short circuit in the inspection bogie at the station, after which there was a situation of chaos.

In Dhanbad, the premises of outsourcing company Hilltop became a battlefield, dozens of rounds of firing and bombing, police remained a mute spectator.

Due to fire in the train bogie, operations on the up line of Barkakana-Mughalsarai route were disrupted. Grasim Industries' Damkam team brought the fire in the bogie under control. It is being told that the inspection bogie had come here on Wednesday to inspect the construction work.
