New Delhi: Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Chairman SN Subramanian advised his employees to work 90 hours a week during an online interaction. He said that if possible, the company will make you work on Sunday also. During the conversation, Subramanian also answered and raised questions from the employees. When he was asked why this billion dollar company calls its employees even on Saturdays. In response he said, 'I am sorry that I am not able to make you work on Sunday. If I can make you work even on Sunday, I will be more than happy, because I work on Sunday. Subramanian said this in the internal meeting of L&T.

After this statement of Subramanian, the ongoing debate on work-life balance is likely to get a boost. It started after Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy suggested working 70 hours a week.
