Good news regarding Spadex mission, ISRO overcomes deviation

Obnews Desk: The Indian Space Research Organization launched the mission SPADEX last Monday, and the spacecraft have been kept in slow motion divergence mode to get closer to each other. ISRO said on this that the experiment is expected to reach the starting position on Friday. Additionally, the Spacex docking update has overcome the yaw and placed the spacecraft in a slow yaw mode to get closer to each other. It is likely to reach its initial position.

ISRO has twice postponed the Spacex experiment related to connecting two satellites in space. Explaining the reason behind the postponement of the experiment, ISRO on Thursday said that during the practice of reaching a distance of 225 meters between the satellites, the deviation was found to be higher than expected after the non-observable period.

Spadex is an important project

According to reports, Spadex is an important project. It is designed to develop and demonstrate the technology required for matching, 'docking' and 'undocking' of spacecraft using two small satellites. Along with this, it has said that the Spadex experiment will prove to be a milestone in advancing India's capabilities in space docking. Space docking is a critical technology for future space missions, including repair-maintenance of satellites, space station operations, and interplanetary missions.

However, Space Docking Experiment is a technology driven mission developed by ISRO to demonstrate the docking technology in space. The objective of this mission of ISRO is to demonstrate the ability to bring two small spacecraft or satellites together i.e. to dock and separate i.e. to undock. Spadex's primary mission is to develop docking technology for two small spacecraft in low Earth orbit, SDX01 (Chaser) and SDX02 (Target). Hi-tech sensing and propulsion systems have been used in this technology,
