So let us tell you the best way to make mixed veg vegetables, by adopting which you can serve a super tasty and healthy dish.
Material:
- Potato: 1 (medium sized, cut into pieces)
- Carrots: 1 (finely chopped)
- Pea: 1/2 cup
- Cauliflower: 1 cup (cut into small pieces)
- Capsicum: 1 (chopped)
- Beans: 1/2 cup (chopped)
- Tomato: 2 (finely chopped)
- Onion: 1 (finely chopped)
- Ginger-Garlic Paste: 1 tsp
- Green chilly: 2 (finely chopped)
- Coriander leaves: for decoration
- Oil/Ghee: 2-3 tbsp
- Cumin: 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric Powder: 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander Powder: 1 tsp
- Garam Masala: 1/2 teaspoon
- chilli powder: 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt: as per taste
- Water: as per requirement
Method:
1. Preparation of Vegetables:
- First of all, wash all the vegetables and cut them into small pieces. After cutting the vegetables, keep them separately.
2. Roasting Spices:
- Heat oil or ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds to it and let it splutter.
- Then add onion and fry until it becomes light golden.
- Now add ginger-garlic paste and green chilli and fry it for 1-2 minutes.
3. Adding Tomatoes and Spices:
- Now add finely chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft.
- After this add turmeric, coriander powder, red chilli powder and salt and mix well. Cook it until the oil starts separating from the spices.
4. Cooking Vegetables:
- Now add chopped vegetables (potatoes, carrots, peas, cauliflower, capsicum, beans) and mix well so that the vegetables get coated well in the spices.
- Cover the vegetables and cook on medium flame for 5-10 minutes. Keep stirring the vegetables in between so that they do not burn.
- When the vegetables become slightly soft, add 1/2 cup water and cover the vegetables and cook until all the vegetables are completely cooked.
5. Final Process:
- When the vegetables are cooked, add garam masala and mix well.
- Turn off the gas and garnish with coriander leaves.
6. Serving:
