ZUS Coffee, Malaysia’s largest coffee chain operator, is launching its second location in Singapore at the Westgate shopping mall.
The outlet is set to open this month, Singapore news site Mothership reported, citing a store hoarding. The chain made its debut in the city-state last October with a store at Changi Airport Terminal 4.
ZUS Coffee, founded in late 2019, is the biggest coffee chain in Malaysia with 566 outlets as of September 2024, surpassing U.S. giant Starbucks’ 411 stores, according to Nikkei Asia. It recorded revenues of 200 million ringgit (US$44.5 million) in the 2023 fiscal year.
Besides Singapore, the brand has also expanded to other Southeast Asian countries, with 52 stores in the Philippines and one outlet, opened last November, in Brunei.
