Will be ready in 15 days

Till now the businessmen of Bhagalpur have received orders worth Rs 50 to 60 lakh. Along with this, it is being estimated that there will be a total business of more than Rs 5 crore for clothes related to Maha Kumbh. According to the information, 10 thousand pieces of gamcha, 15 thousand pieces of saree, one thousand meter of matka silk bandi and one thousand meter of linen shirt are included in these orders. 200 weavers are working day and night in Champanagar for these orders and these clothes are to be ready and sent in the next 15 days. After receiving the order, weavers have started preparing Gamcha, saree and other clothes from white thread. After this these clothes are dyed and then given their final look by embroidery.

Weavers expressed happiness

On receiving such a big order, Nathnagar weaver Tehseen Sabab said that he is very happy with Bhagalpur being selected for Mahakumbh. Tehseen further said that we had not expected to get such big orders, but when the order was received, all the businessmen decided that first of all they would prepare the clothes for Mahakumbh on time.
