Indian team has never seen THIS World Cup winning player getting Run-Out in his 16-year-career

Legendary Indian cricketer Kapil Dev has helped the team win World Cup title in 1983, and has a lot of records to his name. One record to be remembered is his record for never being run-out in his 16 years of playing Test cricket.

A lot of great legendary cricketers have come from India, and one of them is Kapil Dev. India has won the World Cup title in 1983 under the captaincy of Kapil Dev. He has played a lot of memorable innings for India in his career. The Indian legend also has a record to his name, which is going to be very hard for any player to beat. He has never been run-out in his Test career.

Kapil Dev made his Test debut for India against Pakistan in 1978, and played his last Test match against New Zealand in 1994. During his time, Kapil played 131 Test matches and scored 5,248 runs. He has 8 centuries and 27 half-centuries in the longest format of the game. Along with that, he also has bagged 434 wickets.

One thing to be noted is, that the batting legend has never been run-out in the 16 years of his Test career. It is going to be very difficult let alone impossible for any player to break this record set by Kapil.

If we take a look at Kapil’s ODI career, it has also been good. He has scored 3,783 runs in 225 matches. During this time, Kapil had scored one century and 14 half-centuries. He has bagged 253 wickets in the 50-over format.

The best bowling performance by Kapil was 5 wickets for 43 runs. Apart from this, he has taken 835 wickets in first-class matches, while securing 335 wickets in List A.
