Resignation of Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal accepted, said – I served for 5 years

Punjab : The resignation of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) chief Sukhbir Singh Badal has been accepted from the post of president. For this, a meeting of the party's working committee was called. In which the committee has accepted the resignation of Sukhbir Singh Badal and expressed its gratitude. Along with this, Badal said that I served the party for five years. Now the party should elect a new president.

Daljit Singh Cheema had posted

Earlier, senior Akali Dal leader Daljit Singh Cheema had posted on Facebook that Shiromani Akali Dal can never think of overturning the decision of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. We have taken our stand with Singh Sahiban regarding the legal hurdles being faced by the party and the threat to the existence of the party, the decision on which is still pending. No order has been issued yet by Singh Sahiban but some people are trying to take political advantage by making wrong statements.
