Game Changer box office collection day 1: crosses 50 crore mark in India

Mumbai Mumbai: The Ram Charan and Kiara Advani starrer political action thriller was expected to do well at the box office on day one. The film has grossed over ₹51 crore across all languages ​​on its first day at the domestic ticket window. Directed by Shankar, the film has released almost three years after going on the floors. Although the first day numbers are encouraging, it will be tough for the film to achieve hit status with more releases for the festival season.

The Telugu version of the film had the highest collection, crossing the ₹42 crore mark. The second biggest market of the film was Hindi, which crossed the ₹7 crore mark on the first day. The Tamil version contributed ₹2.1 crore to the film's collection, while the Kannada and Malayalam versions added ₹10 lakh and ₹5 lakh respectively. The coming days will be crucial for the Ram Charan starrer as the film looks to make the most of the festival period. Will try while it is still enjoying a solo performance at the ticket window.

The political action film marks Shankar's debut in Telugu cinema, having previously directed several commercially successful Tamil films such as Indian, Anniyan, Sivaji: The Boss, Enthiran and 2.0. During the promotion of the film, South star Ram Charan said that collaborating with the acclaimed director for Game Changer was an “enriching” experience. “I'm very lucky. Working with Shankar garu is a blessing, it's very enriching as an actor, there's a lot to learn,” shared Ram Charan.
