Cylinder blast in two storey house, entire house burnt to ashes, screams were heard

Shimla News: A major accident took place in Rampur of Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh. Here a cylinder burst in a two-storey house, due to which the entire house was burnt to ashes. The entire matter is of Ward-3 Banibasa of Kholighat Panchayat under Nankhadi tehsil. It is being told that around 3 o'clock on Friday night the cylinder suddenly burst and the two-storey house caught fire.

Villagers reached the spot

Due to this incident, five rooms of the house were burnt to ashes. Meanwhile, as soon as the information about the fire was received, the villagers gathered on the spot and started relief work, but the flames were so strong that the villagers could not save the house. In this accident, all the stuff kept inside the house was burnt and destroyed. On the other hand, the family living in the house also became homeless.

How did the accident happen?

According to the information received, five members of a family lived in this two-storey house. In these lived two children of Govind Singh alias (Ramlal), his wife and brother Raman. Panchayat representatives informed the revenue department and police department about the fire incident. After that Revenue Department officials and police personnel reached the spot.

Panchayat head of Kholighat, Anita, said that due to the cylinder explosion, five rooms of the two-storey house were burnt to ashes. He has demanded from the state government and the district administration that compensation should be given to the affected families after assessing their losses, so that the poor families can get relief.

Patwari arrived to assess the damage

On behalf of the administration, Naib Tehsildar Nankhadi Madan Kaushik said that after receiving information about the fire, a Patwari was immediately sent to the spot to assess the damage. An amount of Rs 10,000 along with five blankets and other items have been given by the administration as immediate relief. The damage will be assessed and sent to the government soon.
