Thousands of devotees have gathered in Ayodhya to celebrate the first anniversary of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the grand Ram Mandir. The three-day event, organized by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust in collaboration with the district administration, began today with great fervor and devotion.

The celebrations were inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who performed the sacred Abhishek of Ram Lalla. The deity was adorned in a specially crafted Pitambari outfit woven with gold and silver threads, symbolizing divine splendor.

The highlight of the festivities was the Maha Aarti of Ram Lalla, which took place at 12:20 PM. Devotees from across the country participated in the event, which also featured cultural performances, devotional rituals, and Ram Katha discourses.

Champat Rai, General Secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, expressed his gratitude to the devotees and dignitaries who attended the celebrations. He emphasized the significance of the event, noting that it offers a special opportunity for those who missed last year’s consecration ceremony to participate.

The district administration has made extensive arrangements to ensure the safety and comfort of the attendees. Security measures have been heightened, and route diversions have been implemented to manage the large influx of visitors.

The celebrations will continue until January 13, with various public events and opportunities for devotees to seek blessings from Lord Ram Lalla. The event is being broadcast live on national television to allow more people to participate in the auspicious occasion.
