UP Crime News: A case of gang rape of a woman on the pretext of a Tantra Mantra ritual has come to light from Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh. The woman alleges that the clerics and their associates have together committed this brutality. At present, on the complaint of the victim, a case has been registered against four accused including two Tantric clerics. Also, three have been arrested and sent behind the bars, on the other hand, one accused is said to be absconding.

The woman living here told in the complaint given to the police that her husband is lodged in Tihar Jail of Delhi. The victim was allegedly raped on the 6th in Niwada village of Baghpat. The woman alleges that Maulvi Naseem, along with one of his associates, raped her on the pretext of performing exorcism there. Meanwhile, when he protested, he was beaten badly. When he told uncle Mahtab about this, he also started supporting the accused.

According to the complaint given to the police, the woman said that her uncle was also in jail, who had come out after getting freed. Then when the woman asked him how to get out of jail, her uncle told her that he had done exorcism and Tantra rituals. She was told not to tell anyone about this and her husband would also get bail. After this, believing his words, the victim went to the alleged Tantrik for exorcism. Then the alleged Tantrik Maulana Naseem along with his associate Mehboob raped her.

3 accused arrested

According to the media report, complaining about the injustice done to her, the victim went straight to her home and lodged a case in the police station along with her family members. Then the police registered a case after receiving the complaint and arrested the accused Maulvi Naseem, the victim's uncle Mehtab and Ghaffar and presented them in the court. The woman told the police that these people might have done such things before too, hence it is necessary for these scoundrels to be put behind the bars, otherwise they will continue to deceive other women in the same manner.
