You will be amazed to know that the action drama grossed Rs 294 crore across the globe on Day 1. As days progressed, it continued to break several records.

Game Changer opening day collection
On the other hand, Game Changer also saw a bumper opening in theaters. However, it failed to match up to the collection of Pushpa 2: The Rule. Sri Venkateswara Creations on Saturday (January 11, 2025) disclosed that Game Changer minted more than Rs 186 crore worldwide on its cinematic debut. It is likely to maintain its momentum throughout the Sankranti festive weekend. While there is no denying the fact that this figure is huge as well, it is far from what the sequel to Pushpa: The Rise achieved.

Game Changer was released on Friday (January 10, 2025). It also starred Anjali, Kiara Advani, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Sunil, Jayaram and Samuthirakani in pivotal roles. Produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film marked the directorial debut of blockbuster filmmaker S. Shankar in Telugu cinema.
