BCCI announces India's 15-man squad for T20I against England
Mumbai Mumbai. Team India is all set to participate in its first bilateral series in 2025. With England touring India, both the teams will play a five-match T20 series in different areas of the country. Before the series, the Board of Control for Cricket in India [BCCI] has announced a strong 15-member squad for the T20 series against the Three Lions.
Experienced fast bowler Mohammed Shami is all set to make a comeback in the national team and will play in the home T20 series against England. In an official statement, the Board of Control for Cricket in India [BCCI] has unveiled the squad for the upcoming white-ball tour against England. Young stars like Rinku Singh, Sanju Samson, Nitish Reddy have found themselves in place, while the returning Mohammed Shami is set to play against the Three Lions. The special thing is that Ramandeep Singh and Riyan Parag have not got a place in the team this time.
Team India's squad for the T20 series against England: Suryakumar Yadav (captain), Sanju Samson (wicket-keeper), Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Verma, Hardik Pandya, Rinku Singh, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Axar Patel (vice-captain), Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh, Mohammed Shami, Varun Chakraborty, Ravi Bishnoi, Washington Sundar, Dhruv Jurel (wicket keeper).
This Indian fast bowler has been out of the field since the ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023. He was slated to make a comeback in the Border Gavaskar Trophy, but his plans were foiled due to knee swelling. Mohammed Shami is actively participating in domestic cricket and looks ready to make a comeback in Team India.
