Team India announced for T20I series against England, entry of Mohammed Shami and Harshit Rana

The five-match T20 series between India and England (IND vs ENG T20I) is going to start from Wednesday, January 22, for which BCCI has announced the 15-member Team India on Saturday, January 11. Indian team Veteran fast bowler Mohammed Shami has returned, while KKR's young bowler Harshit Rana, who impressed in the IPL, has also been selected in the squad.

Mohammed Shami is back

34-year-old Mohammed Shami was away from international cricket for a long time. He played his last match for India during the ODI World Cup in the year 2023. During this tournament, he was troubled by a knee injury due to which he had to undergo surgery. It took him a very long time to recover from this injury, although now he is completely fit. He has proved his fitness by playing domestic tournaments and now he is going to make a comeback in international cricket by playing T20 series against England.

Harshit Rana also got T20 International ticket

It is noteworthy that young fast bowler Harshit Rana, who plays IPL for Kolkata Knight Riders, has also got the ticket of Team India's T20 squad. Recently, he was also seen playing the Border Gavaskar Trophy for India against Australia, although he was benched after two matches there.
