He made his debut in Aakhri Khat (1966), which was India’s first official entry for the Academy Awards in 1967. As for Rajesh Khanna’s personal life, he had a total of six siblings, with Rajesh being the youngest. His father’s name was Nandlal Khanna, and his mother’s name was Chandrani Devi. Rajesh’s uncle, Chunnilal, had no children of his own, so he adopted Rajesh. Chunnilal and his wife, Leelawati Khanna, raised Rajesh Khanna with great care and affection.
After sensational affairs, Rajesh Khanna tied the knot with Dimple Kapadia in 1973. It is said that at the time of their marriage, Rajesh Khanna was almost twice Dimple’s age. The couple had two daughters, Twinkle and Rinki. However, they later separated. Although Dimple never filed for divorce, they lived separately.
