There should be security on Bangladesh border like China-Pak border, people demanded in survey

New Delhi : The length of the international border between India and Bangladesh is 4096.70 km, which directly shares the five Indian states of Bengal (2216.70 km), Assam (263 km), Meghalaya (443 km), Tripura (856 km) and Mizoram (318 km). Is connected to. This entire region has vast areas of plains, water, mountains and forest areas and its population is also very high. In view of the various threats present on this border like terrorism, smuggling, infiltration and crime, the Government of India started the work of fencing it in the year 1986. After a lot of efforts, by March 2023, 3180.65 kilometers of fencing out of total 4096 kilometers had been completed. The Indian government aimed to complete fencing of the remaining 915.35 km stretch of the border by March 2024, which has not been completed yet. Now the question is arising whether in view of the current situation, security like China-Pak border should be deployed on Bangladesh border also? Amidst all this, ITV has conducted a survey, in which people have given their respective responses.
