Do these yoga asanas to get relief from physical stress and pain
If yoga is adopted in daily routine, then one can remain mentally healthy and physically also one can be protected from many health problems. There are some yoga asanas which also provide relief from muscle stiffness and pain. If these yogasanas are done daily, one gets relief from pain. Neck, shoulder and back pain are mostly seen in people who have sitting jobs. It gets triggered even more during winter days, so let us know the yoga asanas to get rid of the pain.
1. Trikonasana (Triangle Pose):
Trikonasana also provides good stretch to the muscles of the waist, back, shoulders and neck. Therefore, regular practice of this yoga asana helps you in getting relief from neck, shoulder, back and waist pain as well as stiffness of leg muscles.
2. Balasana (Child's Pose):
Balasana is a very easy yoga asana which anyone can do easily. By doing this yoga asana, the back, waist, shoulders and neck feel quite relaxed. Doing this yoga asana also relieves stress.
3. Gomukhasana (Cow Face Pose):
Gomukhasana is great for getting relief from pain and stiffness in the neck, waist, back and shoulders as well as for improving posture. This asana helps in making your spine and back muscles flexible and is also beneficial in reducing stress.
4. Supine Spinal Twist:
Doing Spinal Twist or Supta Matyendrasana is very beneficial for those suffering from lower back, neck and shoulder pain. By doing this yoga asana the stomach also becomes toned. Spinal twist asana is also beneficial in reducing muscle pain in women after delivery. By doing this asana, sleep also improves.
5. Cat-Cow Yoga Pose (Marjaryasana/Bitilasana):
Doing Cat-Cow Yoga Pose (Marjari Asana) makes the spine flexible, which provides relief from back pain. Apart from this, this yoga asana is also effective in increasing the lung capacity and relaxing the nervous system. Apart from reducing the pain of waist, back, shoulders and neck, Marjari Pose is also effective in reducing the cramps that occur during periods.
