During Brisbane Heat's batting in the second innings of this match, Nathan McSweeney hit a six off Liam Haskett. Liam's father took the catch after hitting six sixes.

The father caught the son's ball after it was hit for a six. This incident happened during powerplay. While bowling, Liam bowled a half-folly ball, on which McSweeney slogged and hit a six. Liam took two wickets in this match and also won the match. His father also made this match memorable through a catch.
