Massive fire breaks out at Greater Noida factory, 32 fire tenders reach spot

Greater Noida: A massive fire broke out at a chemical factory in Greater Noida early on Sunday morning. As many as 32 fire tenders have reached the spot after receiving the information. There is no report of any casualty or injury due to the incident so far. The incident took place near Dujana Road of Badalpur police station area

After the incident, dark clouds covered the sky, due to which people living in nearby areas faced difficulty in breathing. While the cause of the incident is not known yet, officials said that the short circuit might be the reason behind the incident.

The police also brought out 25 cows from the spot after breaking the wall with the help of JCB. Sharing further details DCP Central Noida said that the fire service rem immediately reached the factory after reaching the spot. He futher dded that the information regarding the fire in the factory was received at 3:35 AM this morning.

Steps taken to prevent fire from spreading further: Officials

While 12 fire tenders reached the spot soon after the incident, 20 fire tenders were pressed into service after some time. As per officials, blasts were also heard from inside the factory due to the fire. Officials also took steps to prevent fire from reaching  nearby areas at the moment. After the incident, a karge number of police personnel have also been deployed to to prevent any kind of untowered incident.
