There is a war in the country regarding work life balance, the founder of Capitalmind also jumped into it.
New Delhi : India's veteran businessman and Infosys founder Narayan Murthy has started a new battle in the country by giving a statement about work life balance. In his statement he had talked about the employees working for 70 hours. After which recently L&T Company Chairman SN Subramanian has also asked to work for 90 hours. After this statement, he is being trolled very badly on social media. Another name has also been included in this connection, which is that of Deepak Shenoy, Founder and CEO of CapitalMind.
Deepak Shenoy has shared his experience on the post of his social media platform X. He has said that he often works more than 100 hours a week, but most of the work is completed in only 4-5 hours a day. However, from his post he indicated that it is not about the number of hours worked, but about the speed and focus of working during those hours.
Not only this, Shenoy has also challenged the traditional notion of implementing working hours. He has said that a hardworking person can work hard naturally without the need of a strict time limit.
Shenoy wrote this on X
Deepak Shenoy has written in the post on his X account that, I have worked for 100 hours a week in my entire working life, but most of that work has been done as a businessman. You do not need to have fixed working hours, people who love their work complete their work happily. In any work, most of the work is completed within 4-5 hours and you do not even realize when your work is done.
I've probably worked 100 hours a week for nearly all my working life, but most of that was as an entrepreneur. You don't have to enforce working hours. People who are motivated will work happily. In any case most real work happens in 4-5 hours a day, but you don't know when that…

Also in this post, he has further written that now I find it difficult to call meetings as work, but it takes more energy than the work that I usually do. To some extent this work x hours logic is incomprehensible to me. When I play, I play hard and when I work, I do it hard too.
