Bike News Desk – The new year is going to be very busy for Hero, the world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer. This year, Hero is going to launch many bikes and scooters in the coming months.
Xpulse 210
Last year, Hero had unveiled its Xpulse 210 at EICMA. The company has used Karizma XMR 210 engine in this bike. The engine of Karizma gives power of 25.5hp, while the engine of Xpulse 210 gives power of 24.6hp. But the peak torque of 20.7Nm is same in both the bikes. Hero says that it has made several internal changes to the Xpulse to reduce the peak character of this engine.
This includes new camshafts. The weight of the upcoming Xpulse 210 is also going to increase by 11 kg to 170 kg. The company is also going to make some changes in the design of this bike. The Xpulse 210 has an ADV-style downward slope from the fuel tank to the seat. In comparison, the 200's fuel tank and seat were almost at the same level, more like a dual-sport motorcycle. The Xpulse 210 has more suspension travel with 210 mm at the front and 205 mm at the rear. The XPulse 210 also has slightly more suspension travel than the older model, the Xpulse 200. The XPulse 210 will be priced around Rs 20,000-30,000 more than the XPulse 200, which is priced between Rs 1.47 lakh and Rs 1.55 lakh, ex-showroom. Like the existing XPulse, the 210 will also be offered with a longer, more off-road-focused Rally variant.
Extreme 250R, Karizma XMR 250
Along with XPulse 210, Hero is also going to launch two new 250cc models. These include Extreme 250R and Karizma XMR 250. Both these new bikes have 250cc engine. This engine gives power of about 30 HP and torque of 25 Nm. To increase this capability, Hero has increased the stroke of its existing 210cc mill by 7 mm. The Karizma XMR 250 looks similar to the 210, but it may have a new color and slight differences in the design of the fairing.
While the Karizma is a familiar concept for Hero, the Xtreme 250R is completely new. It has a distinctive aggressive streetfighter stance with a step-up pillion perch and angular tank extensions. The price of both these 250 is likely to be around Rs 2 lakh.
upcoming new scooters
According to Autocar report, four new scooters from Hero will be launched in 2025. The first of these is the new Vida Z, which may be Vida's most affordable model. Apart from this there is also Destiny 125. Many reports have already come in the media regarding its review. Then there are the Xoom 125R and Xoom 160 that Hero introduced at EICMA 2023. These scooters are also expected to come with the bike.
