UP News: Truck crushed the car of Congress MLA going to Mahakumbh, eight people including wife and daughter injured, condition of two critical.
Sonbhadra. Chhattisgarh Congress MLA Indra Kumar Sahu and his wife were killed in a road accident on Sunday morning near Nadhira turn on Murdhwa-Bijpur Road in Myorpur in Sonbhadra district of UP. Other people along with the family have been injured. Hearing the sound of vehicles, nearby people reached the spot. Everyone has been sent to the hospital.

The MLA was going from Balrampur with his family to Prayagraj for Mahakumbh bath. On the way, his car was hit hard by an uncontrolled truck coming from the front. On receiving information about the accident, Chhattisgarh Police officials along with the local police also reached the spot.
The injured were admitted to Myorpur Community Health Center (CHC). Doctor Ankit Singh, who is treating at CHC, said that a total of eight people were injured in the accident. The condition of two is critical.
There was screaming, nearby people took him to the hospital
The injured include MLA Inder Sahu (58), wife Pratima Sahu (53), daughter Shruti Sahu (27), Swati Sahu (25), apart from Manorama Sahu (32), daughter Rajendra Sahu, Saraswati Sahu (53), wife Rajendra, Gunner Tokeshwar Yadav. (28) Son Makkhan Lal, Driver Dwarika Sahu (40) are included. Since the condition of two of these people was critical, they were referred to the district hospital. Meanwhile, MLA's driver Dwarka told that the truck driver lost control of the vehicle while trying to overtake and hit our vehicle.

This accident occurred while going from Balhoda Bazaar, Bhathapara (Chhattisgarh), about 100 km from Raipur, to Mahakumbh Bath in Prayagraj. After the accident, timely medical aid was provided to the injured due to the promptness of the local people and the police.
