Yemen Al Bayda gas station explosion : Seven people were killed and 65 injured in an explosion at a gas storage tank in Yemen's al-Bayda province. According to reports, “The explosion occurred at a gas station in the An Nassif area, north of Al Bayda Governorate. “The resulting massive fire resulted in the death of seven people and injuries to 65, of whom 15 are in critical condition.”

More than 20 cars were damaged in the gas storage tank explosion. Security forces have started investigating the cause of the incident. Al Bayda Governorate has recently been the site of clashes between troops from Ansar Allah (Houthi), the Shia movement that rules northern Yemen, and armed groups opposing them.
