Mumbai: Bollywood actress Preity Zinta expressed her heartbreak over the devastating wildfire in Los Angeles. He also assured fans that his family is safe “as of now” in LA. The actress also expressed her gratitude to the fire department, firefighters and others who are saving lives amid the raging forest fire.

Preity Zinta married LA-based financial analyst Gene Goodenough in 2016. The actress has been commuting between India and the US since then. Recently, wildfires caused a siege in LA, resulting in the evacuation of residents and the burning of homes. On her ex-handle, the 'Koi Mil Gaya' actress wrote that she is saddened by the 'devastation' around her.

“I never thought I would see a day when fires engulfed our neighborhoods in LA, friends and families were either evacuated or put on high alert, ash falling like snow from smoky skies There will be falls and there will be fear and uncertainty about what will happen if the wind does not calm down, we will have small children and grandparents with us.

Preity Zinta wrote, “I am very sad to see the devastation around us and thank God that we are safe now.” The actress highlighted the contribution of firefighters in controlling the disaster and expressed her gratitude to God for keeping herself and her family safe. “My thoughts and prayers are with those who have been displaced and lost everything in these fires. Hopefully the wind will calm down soon and the fire will be brought under control. Many thanks to the fire department, firefighters and everyone who helped save lives and property.
