Angelina Jolie extends her home to friends stranded amidst the rising, fatal LA wildfire

According to reports, Angelina Jolie is making every effort to assist individuals impacted by the wildfires in Los Angeles that started on Tuesday, January 7.

CNN reports that as of Friday, January 10, the Palisades and Eaton fires in Pasadena have already burned up to 10,000 buildings, including residences and workplaces.

According to a source who spoke to People on Friday, the Maria actress has welcomed friends who had to leave the Los Angeles area this week into her house and expressed her “heartbreak” for those who have lost their homes or are somehow affected by the catastrophe.

More than 80,000 people have reportedly been displaced by the crisis, including well-known individuals like Anna Faris, Ricki Lake, Cary Elwes, Cameron Mathison, Leighton Meester, and Adam Brody.

Eleven fire-related fatalities were being investigated as of Friday, January 10, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner (DME).

Similar to Jolie, a number of other celebrities are extending assistance to the wildfire victims.

Halle Berry announced on Instagram that she and Sharon Stone are working together to give away her whole closet to people who lost their possessions in the fire and are in need of basic items.

Despite being threatened with evacuation, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have also welcomed friends into their Montecito home.

Meanwhile, the family of Christopher Guest and Jamie Lee Curtis has promised to donate $1 million to aid those affected by the terrible natural tragedy.
