Another flyover passed in Patna. There will be a 7 KM non-stop route to go to AIIMS and Naubatpur.
To accelerate the pace of development in Patna, the capital of Bihar, the government is continuously working on new projects. One of these major projects is “Bihar Elevated Road”, which will be built in a radius of about 7 kilometers from Anisabad to AIIMS. The purpose of this elevated road is to ease the increasing traffic of the capital Patna and to provide better transportation facilities to the passengers. The entire responsibility of this important project has been handed over to the Road Construction Department, so that the construction work can be completed on time and the road traffic system of the city can be improved.
Patna city is expanding day by day, due to which the traffic pressure is also increasing rapidly. Long queues of vehicles and jams on main roads have become common, due to which people have to face a lot of problems in transportation. With the help of this elevated road being built from Anisabad to AIIMS, the main roads will be diverted, which will reduce the pressure of heavy vehicles and private vehicles on the road. This will provide relief to passengers from jam and will also save time.
According to the initial plan, this project was to be completed by the Central Government, but due to land acquisition and other challenges, the state government had to take over the responsibility of construction. Now the Road Construction Department will oversee this entire work and the State Government will complete the formalities related to land acquisition. It is believed that this step will speed up the pace of the project, as the state government can take quick decisions by better understanding the local needs and constraints.
Land acquisition is a big issue in any big infrastructure project. Objections from local residents, compensation rates, and other legal obstacles often hinder work. This is the reason why the Central Government handed over this responsibility to the State Government, so that the process of land acquisition can be completed easily and transparently with the cooperation of the local administration. The state government has assured that the affected people will be given appropriate compensation and their consent will also be given priority.
Bihar Elevated Road plan can prove to be a milestone in the development of Patna. This will not only improve the city's traffic system, but will also create a foundation for other infrastructure projects. Construction of elevated road will also reduce the possibility of accidents, because the movement of big vehicles and small vehicles will be possible through different routes. Additionally, pollution is also expected to reduce due to reduced traffic congestion at ground level. This will make it easier for people from Naubatpur and Bikram to commute to the city.
