A girl from the local police station area alleged that a young man had physical relations with her several times while claiming to love her.

When the girl talked about getting married, the young man refused. Hurt by being cheated by her lover, the girl reported the matter to the police station where the police arrested the accused within 24 hours and presented him in the court.

Giving information about the case, police station head Ramashray Rai said that on January 11, the victim lodged a report in the police station and said that the accused Faiz Alam, son of Sadruddin, resident of Baraipur police station, Didarganj district, Azamgarh, physically abused the victim several times on the pretext of marrying her. (Rape) was done.

When the victim asked her to marry him, the accused refused to marry her and ran away. Acting on the complaint of the victim, Section 69/352/351 (3) BNS was registered and accused Faiz Alam, 35 years old, resident of Baraipur police station, Didarganj district, Azamgarh, was arrested from near the railway station Khetasarai on Sunday. During interrogation, it was found that the accused was the father of four children. The accused was presented in the court.

Police station head Ramashray Rai, sub-inspector Shailendra Kumar Rai, constable Anil Kumar Yadav, Binod Prajapati and other policemen were present in the arresting team.
