Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed the possibility of 8-10 crore devotees taking bath in the confluence on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya on 29th January. In such a situation, instructions have been given to improve the arrangements. On Wednesday, the CM and top officials at the government level reviewed the situation for three days. He said that more than six crore people are expected to reach here on the two major bathing occasions of Paush Purnima and Makar Sankranti.

He directed that by maintaining communication with the Railways, timely movement of special trains will be ensured in Mahakumbh. He said that regular and special trains continued to be operated continuously. Considering the number of devotees, their number should be increased.

It is very important to clean toilets regularly

CM stressed on improving the mobile network in the fair area. There is a need for continuous operation of shuttle buses and electric buses here. CM Yogi said that regular cleaning of toilets is very important. The ghats should be barricaded. There is a need to provide 24×7 electricity and drinking water supply in all sectors. Many officers including the Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, Director General of Police, Principal Secretary Home and Information, Principal Secretary Urban Development, Chairman Power Corporation and Director Information were present in this meeting.
