After 27 years, Border is ready to rock the screen with some old and some new star cast. Apart from Sunny, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty will also be seen in the film.

Sunny Deol has shared many videos and pictures on Instagram. In the first clip, he has shared a video in which the actors and soldiers can be heard saying “Bharat Mata ki Jai”. In other pictures, he is seen posing for pictures with the soldiers and also playing games with them. While sharing the post, he wrote in the caption, “Salute to the courage, sacrifice and unwavering dedication of our heroes then, now and always. Happy Indian Army Day! #HindustanZindabad #ArmyDay.” Apart from Sunny Deol, Baby John fame actor Varun Dhawan has also shared some BTS pictures from the set.

Anurag Singh has taken the responsibility of direction of Border 2, while the responsibility of production has been taken by Bhushan Kumar, Krishna Kumar, JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta. The film is the sequel to the 1997 film Border, based on the events of the Battle of Longewala (1971). The first part of the film was directed by J.P. Dutta did it. This film is dedicated to the India-Pakistan war of 1971. It stars Sunny Deol, Sunil Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Akshaye Khanna, Sudesh Berry, Punit Issar, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Tabu, Rakhi, Pooja Bhatt and Sharbani Mukherjee in lead roles.
