Delhi Assembly Election 2025: The nomination process for Delhi Assembly Elections 2025 is going on. Former CM and Aam Aadmi Party President Arvind Kejriwal has filed his nomination from New Delhi. His assets worth crores have been revealed in the affidavit for nomination papers. According to the affidavit, Kejriwal is a millionaire. His wife Sunita Kejriwal has more assets than the former Chief Minister. Arvind has also been accused of corruption worth crores. Former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has filed nomination papers. His assets have been disclosed in the affidavit given to the Election Commission. Kejriwal told in the affidavit given to the Election Commission that he has total assets worth Rs 1.73 crore. Rs 50 thousand in cash and Rs 2.96 lakh in savings account. He has declared his immovable assets as Rs 1.7 crore. The AAP President said that he does not have any house or car in his name. His total income in 2023-24 was Rs 7.21 lakh.

Sunita has more property than Arvind

His wife Sunita has more assets than Arvind Kejriwal. Who has been an IRS officer. Sunita has total assets worth Rs 2.5 crore. It has more than Rs 1 crore immovable property, which includes 320 grams of gold worth Rs 25 lakh and 1 kg silver worth Rs 90 thousand. He has immovable property worth Rs 1.5 crore. Kejriwal's wife also has a house and a five-seater car in Gurugram's name. Both (Kejriwal couple) have total assets worth Rs 4.23 crore.

Arvind has been accused of corruption

On 17 November 2021, the Kejriwal government of Delhi implemented the Excise Policy 2021-22. Under the new policy, the government came out of the liquor business and all the shops went into private hands. Regarding this, the Delhi government claimed that the new liquor policy will end the mafia rule and the government's revenue will increase. However, this policy of the Delhi government remained in controversy from the beginning and when the uproar increased, the government canceled it on 28 July 2022.

Delhi election process

Let us tell you that voting will be held on February 5 for a total of 70 seats of Delhi Assembly. The nomination process for this is going on. Tomorrow, January 17, is the last date for submitting nomination papers. Nominations will be scrutinized on January 18. Candidates will be able to withdraw their names till January 20. Voting will take place on 5th February i.e. Wednesday. The results will be declared on 8th February (Saturday).
