Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is now receiving treatment at Lilavati Hospital after sustaining injuries in a knife attack at his home.
Doctors noted that Saif had six wounds, two of which are deep: one near the spinal cord and the other close to the neck.
Kareena Kapoor’s Reaction to Saif’s Attack
After surgeries, Saif’s team came out and stated that he is “now out of danger.”
The attack took place late Wednesday night, and Saif’s elder son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, rushed him to the hospital.
According to reports, the injuries inflicted on the actor caused massive bleeding. When Ibrahim could not get an available car, he did not want to waste time and assisted his injured father to reach Lilavati Hospital in a three-wheeler auto-rickshaw.
The father-son duo traveled about two kilometers from their Bandra residence to the hospital.

Within a short time of the attack, a video was taken that captured Saif’s wife, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, standing near the auto-rickshaw and talking to household staff.
The 54-year-old actor underwent two surgeries and later had been transferred to the ICU, where doctors are closely monitoring his condition.
During surgery, doctors removed a sharp object from Saif’s body, which is believed to be a broken piece of the knife used in the attack. The object has been handed over to the police.
Motive Behind the Attack
Saif’s team claims that the attack occurred during an attempted robbery. However, police have referred to the assailant as an “intruder” and have not confirmed the robbery angle in their statements.
Questions Surrounding the Incident
CCTV footage from Saif’s house reveals no one entering the building for two hours before the attack, which indicates that the assailant was already inside, waiting for an opportunity.
Police are scanning CCTV footage to identify the attacker, who fled after the assault.
According to sources, the assailant may be connected to a domestic servant who reportedly allowed him to enter the house. The incident has been a cause of concern, and Mumbai Police is investigating this shocking attack on one of the city’s elite areas.
Reactions from the Film Fraternity
The film fraternity has been left shaken after the incident. Actress Pooja Bhatt expressed her fear, stating that she has never felt so unsafe and urged Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to increase police presence in Bandra.
The NDA government has come under fire from the opposition parties. They have asked how ordinary residents of Mumbai can feel safe when celebrities are attacked in such a manner.
