Harjinder Singh Dhami has problem with Kangana Ranaut, will not allow emergency release

The film 'Emergency' is going to be released in theaters on January 17. The film 'Emergency' is continuously getting embroiled in controversies even before its release. Now controversy has started in Punjab regarding Kangana Ranaut's film. SGPC has also written a letter to CM Bhagwant Mann to ban this film.

Ruckus in Punjab

SGPC (Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee) President Harjinder Singh Dhami has written a letter to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann demanding not to release 'Emergency' in Punjab. In this letter of SGPC it is written that this film should not be released in Punjab. The release of this film may worsen the situation in Punjab. He has also said that if Kangana Ranaut's film 'Emergency' is released in Punjab, SGPC will completely oppose it.

Letters sent to deputy commissioners

According to Harjinder Singh Dhami, Sikhs have been portrayed in a wrong way in Kangana's film. This film will spread propaganda against Sikhs. In such a situation, it should be banned in Punjab. He has also written in his letter that this film is going to be released on January 17, 2025 and its advance booking has also started in theaters of different cities of Punjab. Along with Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, letters have also been sent to the Deputy Commissioners of all the districts of Punjab to ban Kangana's film.

Ban on 'Emergency' in Bangladesh

On the other hand, yesterday news came that Kangana Ranaut's 'Emergency' has also been banned in Bangladesh. According to the IANS report, the main reason for banning 'Emergency' in Bangladesh is the recent issues going on between India and Bangladesh. Kangana Ranaut's film 'Emergency' has faced a lot of difficulties even before its release. But this film is releasing tomorrow i.e. on 17th January. People's eyes are also fixed on the earnings of the film.
